In conversation with Joanne Harris

Saturday 1st August @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Yorkshire Festival Of Story Guest Director Joanne Harris is the internationally-acclaimed author of Chocolat and many other best-selling novels, often taking in elements of folk-magic, psychological-thriller and Norse legend. Her work has been published in over 50 countries.

This is your chance to ask Joanne questions about her life and work.

Two of her works, A Pocketful of Crows and #storytime, will form the basis of our conversation at this event. The stories told and songs sung tell of a desert dweller who dreams of the sea, a jellyfish queen who falls in love with the moon, a woman who finds… well, listen and discover for yourselves.

When you register, we will send you links to stream Joanne Harris reading A Pocketful of Crows and #storytime with musical backing from her Storytime Band, so that you can hear the stories before the event.
